Ifit link instruction manual. Lactate Plus measures blood lactate (muscle performance indicator) very quickly on a very small drop of blood. This results in a virtually painless, yet fast and accurate, test for lactate. Precaution: The Lactate Plus System is not FDA cleared for performing lactate measurements on persons for medical intervention. It is intended for sports.
Lactate tests on other meters are painful and therefore difficult to incorporate into routine training. They need from 5 to 25 microliters of blood, requiring a deep, wide-gauge lance to pierce the skin deeply enough to obtain a large sample. Lactate Plus requires only 0.7 microliters of blood. This allows use of the thinnest, most shallow, least painful lancing devices available, increasing the athlete’s tolerance for testing.
Fastest Analysis Time
The older technology used by other lactate meters requires 60 seconds for test results. Lactate Plus takes only 13 seconds. This speed means that lactate testing will be less intrusive on the athlete’s training.
Very Accurate
Lactate Plus is made by Nova Biomedical, the world leader in hospital-based, blood lactate analyzers. More hospitals worldwide use Nova for lactate measurements than any other brand. The same high standards for accuracy and reliability that are required for hospital use have been incorporated into the Lactate Plus meter.
Eliminates Calibration Strips or Calibration Codes
All other lactate strips require a unique calibration code to be entered into the meter before a strip is used. This code can be entered manually or by inserting a code strip which comes with each vial of strips. These codes are extremely important because they can change the lactate result by up to 30%, depending on the manufacturing lot of the strip. Failing to use a code or using the wrong code can result in very inaccurate lactate results. Nova strips do not need calibration codes or strips, eliminating both a time-consuming step as well as a source of real error.
Bob Swrote:I just bought the CB-04 cable, a Stroboframe bracket at a localcamera shop and bought the Vivitar 2000 flash at Walmart for about$16.00.I've heard of people using this flash with no problems regardlessof the higher voltage and am trying to figure out how to use itwith my C3000.I have the camera set to only fire the external flash and it doesthis.I've never used an external flash and am really clueless here.theflash manual is useless as it talks about sliding a guiding pusheron back of the unit and this does not exist.only a on and offswitch. Also although the flash fires the ready light does not comeon. On the front is 3 selections. Vivitar lenses user manuals. Manual in the middle and green andred to the left and right.I've been using the manual setting and putting the camera in manualmode an so far have the best result with f/2.8 anf 1/125th secshutter speed, but I'm just guessing here. When I try and use the chart on the back it refers me to using f/16at 4.9 feet in ISO 100.I'm using the C3000 which only goes up to f/11.So, what is the best way to use this flash.step by step.I knownothing about guide numbers so please keep it simple.Bob-(R).
